Jim graduated Western Carolina University in 1970 with a BS in Business Administration. After an Army tour in Vietnam, Jim started in the financial industry as a sales representative with Met Life in 1972. He started his own insurance agency in 1976 and received the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) certification from the American College in 1981 and the Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) certification from the College of Financial Planning in 1985.

Jim is a Registered Representative with Cadaret, Grant & Co., in Syracuse, NY as well as a member of the Financial Planning Association, The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.  He also joined Rotary International in 1992 and is an active member of the Paramus Rotary Club.

Kevin attended Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey.  He studied marketing, while being actively involved in extra curricular activities and athletics where he learned teamwork and what it means to work together for a shared goal.  He has volunteered at various Rotary International functions alongside his father.  He also attended the RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award). 

Kevin obtained his life and health insurance license in 2015.  In 2016, he received the LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) designation.

Pattie graduated from Felician University in 2001 with a degree in psychology. While she was attending college, she worked as a substitute teacher which introduced her to the world of special education.  After almost 15 years, she made her transition from the education field to the corporate world.  She joined The Mangam Agency in 2020.
